Zurich Italia Acquires Full Control of 4Care Enhancing Protection Segment

Zurich Italia, previously the exclusive partner of 4Care since 2020, has acquired 100% of the company through Zurich Investments Life. This acquisition represents a strategic enhancement in the protection segment for Zurich Italia. Alessandro Castellano will take on the role of president of 4Care, having already held leadership roles at Zurich Investments Life and Zurich Bank. KPMG Advisory played a pivotal role as the financial advisor in this transaction, with specialized teams handling business, financial, and tax aspects of due diligence. Additionally, Nolan Norton Italia, part of the KPMG network, oversaw technical due diligence on 4Care's digital platform. 4Care, with its digital and group purchasing model, provides LTC insurance solutions to over 60,000 individuals belonging to large companies and associations. The platform enables these groups to attain customized economic conditions that are otherwise unavailable individually, aiming to improve access to tailored protection for businesses, employees, and families.
