Yuria-Pharm Expands with EBRD's EUR 15 Million Financing

Asters has advised the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on a EUR 15 million financing agreement with Yuria-Pharm, a Ukrainian pharmaceutical company. This financial injection will support Yuria-Pharm's investment initiatives in Ukraine and Uzbekistan. In Ukraine, the funds aim to help the company certify its production under the EU Good Manufacturing Practice standard, introduce solar energy solutions, and implement IT system upgrades. In Uzbekistan, the capital will focus on expanding production capacity, introducing solar technology, and enhancing energy efficiency measures. Notably, in 2020, a similar transaction occurred where the EBRD loaned EUR 25 million to Yuria-Pharm, also advised by Asters.
