Cathexis Holdings, L.P., announced the successful exit of its investment in Yondr Group by selling it for $5.8 billion to DigitalBridge Group, Inc. and La Caisse, formerly known as CDPQ. Yondr, a global developer, owner, and operator of Hyperscale data centers, was established by Cathexis in 2018. The company manages over 420 MW of capacity and is poised for expansion to reach a total capacity exceeding 1 GW, in response to the growing demand for advanced data processing capabilities driven by digital transformation, cloud adoption, and AI expansion. Cathexis emphasized the importance of their team, particularly former CEO Paul Cossell and CFO Chester Reid, in positioning Yondr for its next growth phase. Yondr's new leadership includes CEO Aaron Wangenheim and CFO Sandip Mahajan.
