Deal News | Mar 12, 2025 | PR Newswire Cision XRP Healthcare
XRP Healthcare, a leader in healthcare innovation, has completed its acquisition of Pharma Ville, a prominent retail and wholesale pharmacy chain in Uganda. This strategic move marks XRP Healthcare's entry into the African healthcare sector, aiming to introduce scalable and technology-driven pharmaceutical distribution across the continent. Pharma Ville operates two retail pharmacies and five wholesale distribution centers across Uganda, enhancing the accessibility of medicines. This acquisition not only improves XRP Healthcare's pharmaceutical supply chain but also expands its footprint in Africa's healthcare market. The acquisition includes 60 registered pharmaceutical products and collaboration agreements with global suppliers from Switzerland, Germany, Bangladesh, and other countries. The legal advisory for the acquisition was provided by Shonubi Musoke & Co. Advocates, marking a seamless legal and regulatory transition. XRP Healthcare plans to implement operational upgrades, including advanced inventory management, upgraded licensing, and enhanced distribution channels in Pharma Ville's operations. By Q4, Pharma Ville will rebrand as XRP Healthcare, aligning with the company's vision for innovation in healthcare. The merger utilizes the XRPH AI app, a multilingual healthcare assistant which is integrated into Pharma Ville's platform. Additionally, XRP Healthcare plans further expansion, reflecting its broader strategic ambitions in global healthcare solutions.
