White Summit Secures First Close for Decarbonization Fund

Addleshaw Goddard has played a significant advisory role in the launch and first closing of White Summit's Decarbonisation Infrastructure Fund II (WDIF-II). This fund has a target of raising 500 million euros and aims to strategically invest in European companies focused on energy transition and energy security. The investors in this fund include the European Investment Fund and numerous international institutional investors, along with several family offices. The fund's strategy is to contribute to European energy independence and climate goals by investing in sectors such as renewable energy integration, sustainable transportation, and industrial decarbonization. This initiative is led by Isabel Rodríguez, a partner and head of the investment funds team at Addleshaw Goddard in Spain, supported by other key members like counsel María de Orueta and associate Gonzalo Lozano.
