Wheeler Fleet Solutions Acquired by One Equity Partners

One Equity Partners (OEP), a middle market private equity firm, has announced its agreement to acquire Wheeler Fleet Solutions from VSE Corporation. Wheeler Fleet Solutions, established in 1960 and headquartered in Somerset, Pennsylvania, is a leading aftermarket parts distributor serving the medium and heavy-duty fleet markets. This strategic acquisition is aligned with OEP's focus on enhancing industrial service capabilities through divestitures from larger corporations. With approximately 385 employees, Wheeler operates distribution centers in Pennsylvania, Mississippi, and Texas. Under the leadership and strategic vision of OEP, the acquisition aims to leverage Wheeler's quality customer service reputation to accelerate growth. VSE Corporation, a previous owner, expressed confidence in OEP’s leadership to further develop Wheeler as a standalone entity.
