WellSpan Boosts Access with Martin Foot and Ankle Addition

WellSpan Health has announced the integration of Martin Foot and Ankle into its healthcare system, aiming to improve access to podiatric care in Lancaster and York counties. This merger, set to be finalized later this summer, will operate Martin's four practices under the WellSpan brand, consolidating podiatry services into a more expansive network. With a legacy of 47 years in these communities, Martin's team of 14 podiatrists, including two fellows, will continue their commitment to high-quality care under the WellSpan umbrella. This strategic move enhances WellSpan's care offerings, integrating them into its extensive system of nine hospitals and 250 locations, while maintaining essential surgical services in partnership with its orthopedic department. The integration will also see the rebranding of physical therapy services at the Pleasant Valley Road location into WellSpan Rehabilitation. This affiliation will increase WellSpan's capabilities to include a total of 24 podiatrists, 3 orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons, and 375 licensed rehabilitation professionals across 43 outpatient locations.
