Vuelta Germany CEO Al Munteanu Steps Down, Hands Reins to Dirk Schweitzer

Al Munteanu, the CEO of Vuelta Germany, is transitioning from his executive role to concentrate on BriskPace Studios, a production boutique he solely owns. He was instrumental in integrating the German entities SquareOne Entertainment, Telepool, and EuroVideo, and will remain as a senior advisor with Vuelta. Dirk Schweitzer is stepping in as the interim Managing Director of Vuelta Germany, bringing extensive expertise in the German media sector from his previous roles. Under the leadership of Chairman Jerome Levy, Vuelta Germany made significant strides, including restructuring Telepool’s international sales arm Global Screen under Playtime S. A., and striking deals with entities like Constantin Film. The organization has grown into a pan-European studio, aligning distribution and production across several countries. Munteanu’s new venture, BriskPace Studios, focuses on international production, finance, and marketing. He plans to leverage his experience to spearhead its next growth phase. Vuelta, represented by Levy, acknowledges Munteanu's contributions and anticipates future collaborations.
