VODA.ai Secures Series A Funding Led by CRH Ventures

CRH Ventures, the venture capital division of CRH, has spearheaded a Series A funding round for VODA.ai, a Boston-based company specializing in AI-driven predictive analytics for water infrastructure. This investment, with additional participation from L-Stone Capital, supports VODA.ai's mission to assist utilities in managing aging water systems. Having analyzed over one million miles of pipe across 26 U.S. states and six countries, VODA.ai's platform aids in the prioritization and resource allocation necessary for critical infrastructure protection. Eduardo Gomez Mendoza, Head of CRH Ventures, emphasized the strategic importance of this investment in expanding CRH’s smart water management solutions. As part of the funding, VODA.ai will bolster its R&D capabilities and further develop innovative solutions for water utilities globally. The investment coincides with a partnership between VODA.ai and Oldcastle Infrastructure, CRH’s water infrastructure unit, aimed at enhancing market access. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to leveraging AI in the optimization of water systems, advancing sustainable solutions in infrastructure management. CRH Ventures, part of CRH plc, is a prominent entity within the construction and building materials industry, focusing on innovation through venture funding in ConTech and ClimateTech start-ups.
