Viterbit seeks funding for international expansion push

Madrid-based recruitment technology startup Viterbit plans to raise between €6.0 million and €8.0 million ($7.7 million to $10.3 million U.S.) in funding in the first quarter of the next year, according to a report by El País. The funds are earmarked for international expansion, as the company aims for a threefold increase in revenue to €3.0 million in 2024, with the goal of reaching €5.0 million the following year. Viterbit recently rolled out a generative AI product named Mia, which facilitates the conversion of human dialogue into job applications. It also plans to develop a series of AI-enhanced recruitment tools for deeper integration with its client operations. Currently, Viterbit's core markets include Spain and Mexico, although the firm has a client base extending to Argentina, Chile, and Germany. The expansion strategy focuses on penetrating larger European markets such as Italy and France, alongside emerging markets like Poland and Romania.
