Vinted Unveils Investment Arm to Back Startups

Vinted Group, the European C2C second-hand marketplace leader, has announced the launch of Vinted Ventures, its investment arm dedicated to supporting startups in the re-commerce sector. The initiative is aimed at re-shaping consumer behaviors towards favoring second-hand commerce, providing funding in the range of 500,000 to 10 million Euros for Series A-C stage companies. Vinted Ventures endeavors to support ambitious founders developing impactful products and services that address real consumer issues. According to Milda Jasait, senior director of corporate development, the investment arm will partner with startups to usher in new consumer habits and foster long-term success. CEO Thomas Plantenga highlights Vinted's success in scaling as a financially solid tech business.
