VibePay Raises £5M and Hires Klarna Executive for Key Role

In a significant move within the FinTech industry, VibePay has secured an additional £5 million in funding, bringing its total funding to £12 million. This funding round saw participation from existing investors, including billionaire property developer Nick Candy. VibePay, known for its innovative payments platform, also announced the appointment of Conor Tiernan, a former executive at Klarna, as the new Head of Insights. Tiernan played a key role at Klarna, particularly in launching Kosma and leading open banking efforts. At VibePay, he will spearhead sales and partnerships development for VibePay's upcoming Insights platform that aims to leverage AI to analyze consumer spending behaviors. The anticipated launch of VibePay Insights in late 2024 will allow brands and businesses to engage new customers based on transaction data. VibePay's Channels feature, enabling seamless real-time transactions and engagement, continues to expand, positioning VibePay as a distinctive player in the FinTech landscape.
