Vanesa González Prieto, with over 20 years of auditing experience, has been appointed by PwC as the new global leader for audit in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. She joined PwC in 2005 and has since worked extensively with listed international companies, offering accounting and financial advisory services. González Prieto is currently the partner responsible for the Telecommunications sector at PwC Spain and part of the Global Experts Group in Telecommunications Companies Accounting (TIAG). She has accumulated considerable experience in listed companies, providing accounting advisory, IFRS conversion, and assisting in public offerings. In 2023, she was appointed leader of the audit sector for TMT in the EMEA region and now takes on the worldwide mantle in this domain.
