Valpre Capital's Inaugural Athens Acquisition: Transforming Office Space into Luxury Aparthotel

Valpre Capital, a London-based investment firm, has announced the acquisition of an office building on Piraeus Street in the Omonia Square district of Athens. This acquisition marks Valpre Capital's initial foray into the Athens property market, with plans to convert the building into an aparthotel. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to create a portfolio of high-quality aparthotels in central Athens. The project involves a comprehensive refurbishment to modernize the space and integrate sustainable practices, with operations expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027. Ahmad M. Hariri, managing partner of Valpre Capital, highlighted the strategic importance of the location as well as the firm’s commitment to delivering sustainable and flexible accommodation. Anastasios Nasim, Valpre Capital's local partner, emphasized the development's alignment with community and environmental considerations. The aparthotel will cater to a diverse clientele, and further acquisitions are planned, including in the Monastiraki district.
