Unoenergy, a leading private operator in the natural gas, electricity supply, and energy efficiency services sectors, has expanded its portfolio by acquiring a controlling stake in Libarna Gas. PwC acted as the strategic and financial advisor for this transaction. The acquisition was executed through the purchase of Officina Energetica, acquiring a 51% share in Libarna Gas from Newatt and En-Gas. Libarna Gas, established post the deregulation of the energy sector in 2003, manages about 17,000 client utilities. Strategically significant for Unoenergy, the move enhances its presence in Lombardy and Piedmont.
