In a strategic reorganization aimed at bolstering ultra-broadband networks in Italy, Unidata and Cube Infrastructure Managers, through the European fund Connecting Europe Broadband Fund (CEBF), have taken pivotal steps. This operation has resulted in the creation of a sub-holding company, Unifiber Italy, primarily owned by CEBF and partially by Unidata. Unifiber’s objectives include designing, building, financing, and managing open-access fiber-to-the-home networks in Italy. The restructuring included contributions of existing holdings from both parties, Unifiber in Lazio and ClioFiber in Puglia.
