Ulusoy acquires Pastificio Mediterranea from Cerealto

Ulusoy Un, a Turkish food company listed on the Istanbul Stock Exchange, has acquired Pastificio Mediterranea, an Italian company under the brand Moccagatta, from the Cerealto Group. The advisory for Ulusoy's acquisition was provided by Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, wherein partner Luca Fossati and associate partner Giovanni Cereda led the fiscal aspects, while the legal intricacies, including due diligence and contractual negotiations, were managed by partner Andrea Gottardo and senior associate Simone Stefani. On the selling side, the Spanish firm Djv by RocaJunyent, supported by the Lexpertise legal network, advised the Cerealto Group with partner Carlos Cabeza de Vaca Aldanondo overseeing the legal aspects. This transaction marks a strategic entry for Ulusoy into the Italian market, expanding its footprint in the pasta sector.
