Turelli Joins A&M to Lead Italian Corporate Finance

Global professional services firm Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has announced the launch of its Corporate Finance practice in Italy, spearheaded by veteran financial advisor Maximiliano Turelli. This move marks the firm's continued growth across Europe following expansions in other countries. Turelli, with extensive leadership roles previously at Banca Akros, Equita Group, and K Finance / Clairfield International, brings over two decades of industry experience. His task will be to build A&M’s M&A advisory services in Italy, targeting financial sponsors and mid-market clients, predominantly within the industrial sector. Turelli notes a rising demand for independent corporate finance advice in Italy, with mid-market entities turning towards firms that offer international reach and sector-specific insights. The Italian arm sees private equity gaining prominence, particularly as a mechanism for business transformations and succession planning in various industrial and B2B fields. Turelli aims to recruit more professionals to the team to meet client demand.
