Triton Liquid, a UAE-based hedge fund specializing in digital assets, has appointed Peter Knez, a former co-Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of BlackRock, as an advisor. Knez brings with him substantial experience gained during his tenure at BlackRock, a leading global asset management firm. His role will primarily involve strategizing to elevate Triton Liquid into a prominent asset manager in the digital space, thus broadening its appeal to institutional and accredited investors seeking crypto exposure. Knez is also slated to join Triton's board of directors. Triton Liquid, headquartered in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), was launched earlier this year with an initial investment of $30 million. The hedge fund aims to offer institutional-grade access to digital asset markets, focusing on the burgeoning demand within the professional investment community.
