TricorBraun to Acquire Euroglas and Glaspack, Strengthening European Presence

TricorBraun, a global leader in packaging solutions, has announced its impending acquisition of two significant European packaging distributors—Euroglas and Glaspack. This move, set to bolster TricorBraun's presence in the DACH region (comprising Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), reflects a strategic expansion within the European market. Euroglas and Glaspack, both family-run businesses founded in 1992, have established a strong reputation for delivering quality rigid packaging solutions. Euroglas is renowned for its glass packaging offerings tailored to Europe’s food, beverage, and spirits industries. In comparison, Glaspack dominates Austria’s wine, beer, and food packaging market. Mark O'Bryan, TricorBraun’s COO, emphasized the synergy expected from combining the acquired companies' market expertise with TricorBraun's robust supply chain capabilities. As part of the transition, all Euroglas and Glaspack employees will retain their positions, and operations will continue at current locations, with both entities adopting the TricorBraun name. The deal is anticipated to close in the first quarter of 2025, pending regulatory approval.
