TransFICC Boosts Global Expansion with £20m Series B Funding

TransFICC, a London-based company known for its low-latency connectivity and workflow services in the fixed income and derivatives markets, has successfully raised £20m in its Series B funding round. The latest investment brings TransFICC's total funding to £39m, underlining the strategic expansion of its presence with data center hosting across North America, Europe, and Asia. The funding round was spearheaded by Citadel Securities, with additional contributions from BlackFinTech and existing investors. Amit Bhuchar from Citadel Securities praised the company for its role in shaping the future of fixed income market making, focusing on increased automation and efficiency. Co-founder Steve Toland highlighted the demand for automated solutions driven by structural changes in the market, such as the adoption of algorithmic tools and the growth of fixed income ETFs.
