Thor Ice Chilling Solutions, an Icelandic innovation and technology firm, has secured a €2 million loan from the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (Nefco) to support their ongoing growth and expansion in international markets. Nefco, known as the Nordic Green Bank, previously provided funding to Thor Ice in 2020 and this latest agreement will complement prior financing. Thor Ice develops energy-efficient cooling technology which reduces food waste, water, and energy usage. Their IceGun technology ensures food safety by offering swift cooling, extending shelf life, and improving efficiency.
