Thirdfort Enhances CDD Vision with Homeppl Acquisition

Thirdfort, a leading client due diligence platform based in London, has acquired the rental check platform and brand of fellow London-based tech company Homeppl. The acquisition aligns with Thirdfort's vision of providing streamlined client due diligence processes for legal, property, and accounting professionals. Thirdfort serves over 1,500 regulated businesses, including more than 230 estate agents, and aims to integrate Homeppl's market-leading rental check and fraud detection solution into its platform. This move is expected to enhance Thirdfort's capability in tenant checks, protection against tenancy fraud, and establishing itself as a comprehensive due diligence solution provider across the property sector. Initially, Homeppl's platform will continue under the 'Homeppl by Thirdfort' brand before fully integrating into Thirdfort’s operations. Concurrently, the remaining segment of Homeppl will rebrand to Fraud Finder, concentrating on scaling its document risk analysis product, thus representing a strategic development in the PropTech and RegTech space.
