Deal News | Aug 08, 2025 | Finance Community IT - 3 Private Equity

The Vesper Next Generation Infrastructure Fund I has entered into a binding agreement to acquire a majority stake in Yfoss, a company currently wholly owned by Terakraft, a Norwegian data center operator specializing in AI and high-performance computing (HPC) infrastructure. The transaction involves Yfoss assuming control of Terakraft's data center, which is undergoing a comprehensive restructuring and upgrade program. Upon completion, the data center will offer a capacity of 10 MW with potential expansion to 60 MW, making it one of the most sustainable and cost-efficient AI data centers in Europe. Legal assistance was provided by Greenberg Traurig for Vesper and Osborne Clarke, and Advokatfirma Tofte Hald for Terakraft. This strategic move follows Vesper's previous investment in BioHold, where it became a joint controlling shareholder along with Fiorentini in June, with RRG Nature Based Solutions holding a minority stake in BioHold.
