Global private equity firm, The Carlyle Group, and Australian private credit manager, amicaa, have jointly extended an A$240 million debt financing package to Tellus Holdings Limited. Tellus, an independent environmental services company based in Western Australia, will use the funds to refinance existing debt and fuel its growth. The company operates Australia's only licensed geological repository for hazardous waste, located in Sandy Ridge. This strategic financing highlights Carlyle's commitment to private businesses in complex sectors and aids Tellus in its goal to provide sustainable waste disposal solutions, aligning with the green economy transition.
