Technip Energies expands with acquisition of GST and Energeco in Rome

Technip Energies, a leader in engineering and technology for the energy industry, has announced its acquisition of two Italian companies, GST and Energeco. Both companies are based in Rome and specialize in design and engineering services for the energy sector. The acquisition is a strategic move by Technip Energies to enhance its team with specialized expertise in technology assessment and project initiation, aiming to bolster its energy transition initiatives. Accuracy, Pirola Pennuto Zei & Associati, and Gianni & Origoni provided buy-side due diligence and closing support for the acquisition. The financial aspects of the deal were handled by Accuracy, with significant contributions from a team led by Silvia Baroffio, including Davide Palazzo, Alex Coppola, and Guido Rizzente. This deal builds on a long-standing subcontractor relationship between Technip Energies and the two acquired firms.
