Tages Capital SGR, through its Tages Helios Net Zero fund, has successfully acquired a portfolio of four operational biogas plants located in Genivolta, Tromello, and Dorno, near Pavia and Cremona. The acquisition marks the fund's first investment in biomethane production facilities, dovetailing with its focus on energy transition. The acquired plants, currently with a total capacity of approximately 4 MW, will be converted to produce biomethane by 2026, with each facility achieving a potential production capacity of 300 Smc/h. Once fully operational, the plants are expected to produce over 2 million Smc of biomethane annually. SURE Sustainable Revolution acted as the sole financial advisor for Tages, while Dentons provided legal advisory and BonelliErede handled comprehensive due diligence. This strategic move aligns with Tages Capital's commitment to sustainable energy infrastructure.
