Sviluppo Sostenibile Completes Sale of Stake in OMB Saleri
Deal News | Dec 11, 2024 | DeA Capital Alternative Funds SGR

DeA Capital Alternative Funds' Sviluppo Sostenibile fund has completed the sale of its 30% stake in OMB Saleri to an unnamed German financial investor. This divestment marks the end of a fruitful investment period that began in August 2021, during which OMB Saleri achieved significant growth, with revenues increasing from 40 million to 70 million euros. OMB Saleri, a global leader in the design and production of valves for sustainable mobility, has been at the forefront of innovation, particularly in the hydrogen sector. The company benefited from strategic direction and technological investments fostered by the fund. The Saleri family, who remain deeply committed to the company's future, have reinvested part of their proceeds from the sale. DeA Capital was supported in this transaction by several advisors, including Pavia Ansaldo (legal), METI Corporate Finance (financial), and Cerved (ESG rating). The German investor's involvement is expected to accelerate OMB Saleri's growth alongside the existing management and Saleri family.
