Surgery Center of Lee’s Summit completed by Hammes

Hammes Co., a national real estate consulting, development, investment, and management firm, has completed the Surgery Center of Lee's Summit, located on the campus of Lee's Summit Medical Center in Missouri. This development was executed on behalf of Surgery Ventures, powered by HCA Healthcare, and 16 physician partners. The facility spans 18,800 square feet and includes three operating rooms and two procedure rooms aimed at serving a wide array of surgical specialties. The establishment of this surgery center comes as a response to the growing community's needs southeast of Kansas City, with a focus on providing patients enhanced access and convenience for outpatient care. This is the second surgery center Hammes has completed in the Kansas City area in 2024 in collaboration with Surgery Ventures, having previously completed the Blue River Surgery Center. The collaboration with ACI Boland Architects and JE Dunn Construction was a significant part of developing these healthcare facilities.
