Sunfire, a global leader in electrolysis technology, in collaboration with Finnish company P2X Solutions, has launched Finland's first industrial-scale green hydrogen plant in Harjavalta. The commercial operation of Sunfire's alkaline-based electrolyser marks a significant step for the Finnish energy sector as it moves towards sustainable hydrogen production. Spearheaded by P2X and supported by Finnish project developer Ren-Gas, this landmark project is set to produce 20 MW of green hydrogen and aims to contribute significantly to Finland's target of producing ten percent of the European Union's hydrogen by 2030.
