Stavtar Secures $55M Investment from Elephant to Accelerate Growth

Stavtar Solutions, a New York-based leader in business expenses management and cost allocation solutions, has announced a $55 million Series A funding from Elephant, a venture capital firm. This significant minority stake investment is set to drive the company's next phase of expansion, particularly focusing on enhancing product innovation and scaling their integrated payment features through their flagship product, StavPay. Co-founded by industry experts Steven Petersen and Avtar Batth, Stavtar aims to replace outdated and manual financial processes with a data-driven, customizable platform designed for complex financial and operational requirements in sectors like hedge funds and private equity. The company has seen over 1300% growth in the past three years and serves more than 100 asset managers managing $2.4 trillion in assets. Proceeds from the investment will also be used for expanding the team across various departments and deepening AI and mobile functionalities to provide real-time business insights. The inclusion of Peter Fallon, a partner at Elephant, on Stavtar's board underscores the commitment to furthering the platform’s market growth and operational impact.
