SPIE, a leading independent European multi-technical services provider, has announced its acquisition of Rovitech, a Dutch company specialized in technical services for ICT, telecommunications, and electrical installations. This acquisition aids SPIE in enhancing its data center expertise and expanding its national footprint in the Netherlands. Rovitech, founded in 2005 and based in Houten, offers a comprehensive range of services including the design, installation, and management of data centers, as well as network infrastructure, cooling systems, fire protection, and energy storage solutions. With a workforce of 25 employees and a turnover of 7 million euros in 2024, Rovitech aligns with SPIE's growth strategy to strengthen its presence and expertise in the data center sector. This acquisition will enable SPIE to broaden its service offerings, particularly in central and eastern Netherlands, and leverage Rovitech's expertise to develop more sustainable data center solutions. Both companies aim to merge their expertise in efficient IT solutions, contributing to SPIE's ambition to support digital and energy transitions. SPIE reported a consolidated revenue of 9.9 billion euros and an EBITA of 712 million euros in 2024.
