SPIE, a leader in multi-technical services in Europe focused on energy and communication, has acquired Rovitech, a Dutch company specializing in ICT, telecom, and electrical installations. This acquisition aims to bolster SPIE's expertise in data centers and expand its footprint in the Netherlands. Rovitech, founded in 2005 and based in Houten, is known for its comprehensive services in data centers and network infrastructure, including design, installation, maintenance, cooling systems, energy storage, and intrusion protection. With 25 employees, Rovitech recorded €7 million in revenue for 2024. By integrating Rovitech's services, SPIE looks to enhance its offering in energy-efficient IT and sustainable data center solutions, aligning with its corporate growth strategy. SPIE Nederland will particularly benefit in central and eastern Netherlands, solidifying its status as a data center specialist. The SPIE Group reported consolidated revenues of €9.9 billion and EBITA of €712 million in the same year.
