Sopra Steria is poised to enhance its consulting business, Sopra Steria Next, through the acquisition of Aurexia, a management consulting firm operating across Europe and Asia. The acquisition aligns with Sopra Steria's strategy to double its consulting business by 2028 and will bolster its presence significantly in France, Luxembourg, Singapore, and Hong Kong, especially within the Financial Services sector. With a history dating back to 2006, Aurexia specializes in providing strategic, operational, and compliance consulting services to financial institutions, primarily focusing on retail and investment banking but also catering to insurance and asset management sectors. Aurexia generates approximately 20 million euros in revenue, predominantly from France. The acquisition, expected to close by mid-2025, will position Sopra Steria Next as a leading player in France's financial consultancy arena, boosting its team to over 400 consultants in the sector. The deal awaits consultation with employee representative bodies.
