Sochim International Joins Naturacare in Landmark Deal

Sochim International, a prominent producer of dietary supplements in softgel form, has been acquired by Naturacare, a European contract development and manufacturing organization backed by Dentressangle Capital. The acquisition allows Naturacare to enhance its expertise in the formulation, production, and packaging of nutritional supplements aimed at improving human and animal health. Sochim's founder, Carlo Eigenmann, will reinvest in Naturacare, while his daughter, Carolina Eigenmann, will continue in an executive leadership role. Ethica Group served as Sochim's financial advisor, with legal advice from Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Ludovici, while Valere Advisory acted as the financial advisor for Naturacare/Dentressangle. Founded by the Eigenmann family in 1988, Sochim evolved to become a leading independent company in third-party development and production of nutritional supplements, medical devices, and special dietary foods. It became a leading player in softgel capsule production, with 55% of its revenue coming from international clients. The acquisition allows Naturacare to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing European dietary supplement market.
