Sixth Street Partners, a global investment firm, and Copley Point Capital Limited have completed the acquisition of a portfolio of five logistics assets from Barings. The portfolio covers around 0.8 million square feet in key UK logistics hubs. This acquisition expands their joint portfolio to 11 assets across 3.3 million square feet since the joint venture's inception in November 2024. The strategy focuses on acquiring high-quality industrial real estate in robust logistics markets across the UK. Nimit Oberoi of Copley Point emphasized the firm's commitment to being a dependable liquidity provider and plans to continue scaling their strategy by exploring further opportunities. Cushman and Wakefield advised on the transaction. Sixth Street, with $100 billion in assets under management, is known for its long-term capital strategy and diverse investment solutions.
