Sirec Energy Leads EUR 600 Million Power Plant Initiative

Kyriakides Georgopoulos, a law firm, has advised Sirec Energy, which is managing the European Sustainable Investment Fund, on its joint participation in Larissa Thermoelectric. This project is a significant energy venture involving the development of a natural gas-fired power plant. With an estimated project value of EUR 600 million, the plant will employ combined cycle gas turbine technology, boasting a net capacity of 792 megawatts, situated in Greece's Larissa Industrial Area. Alongside Sirec Energy, the consortium participants include Clavenia, DEPA Commercial, and Volton. The legal advisory team from Kyriakides Georgopoulos included top partners and associates, all contributing to this expansive energy infrastructure project. Despite inquiries, the law firm opted not to comment on the development.
