Sify Technologies Welcomes Dr. Ram Sewak Sharma to Board

During his tenure at UIDAI, Sharma was instrumental in developing Aadhaar, the world's largest biometric identity system. His academic credentials include a master's in mathematics from IIT Kanpur, a master's in computer science from the University of California, Riverside, and a PhD from IIT Delhi. Dr. Sharma's experience extends to his leadership roles as Chairman of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) and Secretary of the Department of Electronics and IT. His addition to the board is expected to benefit Sify's expansion efforts in data centers, cloud services, networks, and digital services, with a significant emphasis on leveraging technology as a catalyst for growth.
