Sev.en Global Investments Acquires Celsa Steel UK and Celsa Nordics

Clifford Chance has advised Sev.en Global Investments, a Czech family office, on its acquisition of the UK and Nordics divisions of Celsa Steel. As the largest steel recycling company in the UK, Celsa Steel UK operates a significant facility in Cardiff with a production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes of low-carbon construction steel annually. Celsa Nordics, a leading steel producer in the Nordic countries, manages an entire production chain from scrap collection to finished products. The advisory team from Clifford Chance was a multijurisdictional effort led by Spanish M&A partner Javier Amantegui and senior associate Pablo Hernández. The team also included partners and associates handling separation, due diligence, and regulatory matters, reflecting a comprehensive and concerted effort to ensure a seamless acquisition process for Sev.en Global.
