Sener lands contract for five Saudi airports

Spanish engineering and technology firm Sener has been awarded a contract by Saudi Arabia's Matarat Holding to update masterplans for five major airports, which include Yanbu, Tabuk, Al-Baha, Al Jouf, and Al Gurayat. As part of this collaboration, Sener will undertake comprehensive analyses of each airport's traffic patterns, tourism potential, facility needs, capacity, and environmental impact while forecasting future demands and assessing necessary investments. This marks Sener's first airport project in Saudi Arabia, with the company's regional experience encompassing various high-profile projects, including the Riyadh Metro. The project supports Matarat Holding's commitment to achieving global aviation benchmarks aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
