SEGRO Sells French Onyx Portfolio To Hines

SEGRO, a prominent European industrial and logistics property company, has completed the sale of its French Onyx portfolio to Hines. The Onyx portfolio consists of five buildings, four located in Saint-Ouen-L'Aumne and one in Oignies, collectively spanning nearly 130,000 square meters. SEGRO is listed on both the London and Paris stock exchanges and is recognized as a leading owner and manager of warehouses and industrial properties across Europe. The company's operations extend beyond France into the UK and six other European nations, encompassing a portfolio valued at 24.4 billion with a total space of 10.8 million square meters. Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner LLP (BCLP) provided advisory services to SEGRO, specifically on the tax aspects of this transaction, with legal input from Partner Olivier Mesmin and Senior Associate Yecine Nour. Additionally, 14 Pyramides Notaires advised on the real estate components of the deal. BCLP has a history of counsel for SEGRO, previously advising on another significant asset sale in Dugny.
