Scout24 Acquires New-Build Property Marketplace NeuBau Kompass

Scout24 SE, the operator of Germany’s leading real estate marketplace Immobilienscout24.de, has announced the acquisition of NeuBau Kompass AG, a Munich-based company specializing in new-build properties across Germany and Austria. The acquisition is expected to integrate NeuBau Kompass’s platform into ImmoScout24, thereby expanding the reach and resources available to realtors and property developers focusing on new-builds. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Since its inception in 2008, NeuBau Kompass has grown to be a significant player in the new residential property sector, expanding its services to Austria in 2018 and recently enhancing its brand through a digital magazine and a revamped website. Scout24 CEO Tobias Hartmann highlighted the importance of the new-build market, indicating that the acquisition aligns with Germany’s housing investment needs. NeuBau Kompass co-founder Florian Huber emphasized the enhanced reach and improved customer experience that Scout24 would bring to the company.
