Fondo Italiano d’Investimento SGR's Agri&Food fund, FIAF, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Scatolificio del Garda, a company based in Pastrengo, Verona, specializing in eco-friendly paper packaging and single-use products for the food and beverage industry. This marks the fund's fourth acquisition. The closing of the deal is expected by April 2025, pending certain conditions. PedersoliGattai and Russo De Rosa Associati advised the fund on various aspects including corporate, tax structuring, due diligence, and antitrust issues, while TP Legal assisted Scatolificio del Garda. Luca Sandri will continue as CEO and chairman, with Stefano Zardini as general manager.
