Savr Agrees to Sell Stake in Fintech Startup

Deal News | Jul 02, 2025 | Aim Group

Vend, previously known as Schibsted, is making moves to divest its venture portfolio by selling its stake in the Swedish fintech startup Savr. The transaction, expected to close later this year pending regulatory approvals, involves the Länsförsäkringar Bank as the buyer. This move marks part of Vend's strategy to exit investments outside its core marketplace sector. Savr, founded in 2019, has become a significant player in the investment platform space, offering services in mutual funds, ETFs, and foreign stocks across 19 markets. It has attracted over 100,000 users and manages about $600 million in funds, despite posting a financial loss in 2023. Other sellers in this deal include Incore Invest and iZettle co-founders. Although financial terms remain undisclosed, speculative reports suggest a valuation of SEK 300 million for Savr.
