Savant Labs Secures $18.5M Series A Led by Dell Technologies Capital

Savant Labs, a company specializing in automation platforms for data analysts, has raised $18.5 million in a Series A funding round led by Dell Technologies Capital. Founded by Chitrang Shah, who previously worked with machine learning models at Lattice Engines, the company aims to simplify data workflows by offering a no-code graphical user interface centered around a spreadsheet. The platform targets business analysts often bottlenecked by the lack of data engineers, providing them with the tools needed for efficient data manipulation. The round, which also saw participation from Vertex Ventures, Cota Capital, Village Global, Bloomberg Beta, West Wave Capital, and Uncorrelated Ventures, increases Savant's total funding to $29.5 million. The company plans to focus on large enterprises initially, with future plans to address small and medium businesses.
