Sandfield Capital Secures £600m for Strategic Expansion

Sandfield Capital, a litigation-focused FinTech based in Liverpool, has secured a significant £600 million facility from Perspective Investments to facilitate its strategic expansion over the next three to five years. Founded in 2020, Sandfield Capital provides loans to enable individuals and law firms to pursue legal claims, with repayments made from case settlements. The company offers a lending management system, Eaziclaim, to streamline litigation funding. The newly secured funds will allow Sandfield Capital to expand its legal panel and the variety of claims it supports. Recently, Sandfield raised an additional £30.5 million in the last year to support its initiatives. The firm aims to secure a new location for its Liverpool operations and increase recruitment efforts by the first half of 2025. CEO Steven D'Ambrosio highlighted the firm's business model and the potential for new partnerships with law firms. Perspective Investments' support is seen as a vote of confidence in Sandfield's business model and its technological capabilities in litigation finance.
