SafePAS Raises EUR 700,000 for Drug Detection Technology with Sorainen's Aid

In a notable development, Sorainen has successfully guided SafePAS through a €700,000 investment round aimed at propelling the market introduction of Drug Hunter. This innovative portable drug detection analyzer, developed in collaboration with the Estonian police, boasts the capability to detect 97% of known drugs in saliva within minutes, offering cost-effective, lab-quality precision in the field. The investment round benefitted from contributions by Securetec Detektions-Systeme, the Estonian Business Angels Network, PurposeTech, BSV Ventures, and the Beamline Accelerator. The project has already won the prestigious 2023 Europol Innovation Award. At Sorainen, the advisory team was led by Partner Mirell Prosa, alongside Counsel Olivia Kranich and Associate Eva Lennuk.
