Recordati Strikes Major Deal with Amarin for Vazkepa® Commercialization

Recordati has entered into licensing and supply agreements with Amarin to commercialize Vazkepa®. The deal involves an initial payment of US$25 million from Recordati to Amarin and commercial milestones that could total as much as an additional US$150 million. The agreements stipulate that Amarin will supply the finished product to Recordati and receive royalties. Hogan Lovells advised Recordati, with a multi-jurisdictional team led by partners Francesco Stella and Penny Powell. The team also involved members from Hogan Lovells offices across Europe and the United States. Recordati's in-house legal team, headed by Chief Legal Officer Bibianne Bon, closely collaborated with Hogan Lovells.
