Ravio Raises £9m in Series A Funding with Spark Capital Leading the Charge

Ravio, a London-based fintech startup founded by former Deliveroo executives, has successfully raised £9 million in a Series A funding round led by Spark Capital. The funding also included investments from Blackbird and Cherry Ventures. Established in 2022, Ravio aims to revolutionize how businesses determine employee compensation by using real-time data insights. The platform integrates with clients' HR systems to automate data collection, enabling continuous analysis of market compensation dynamics. Co-founders Merten Wulfert and Vaso Parisinou developed the idea for Ravio based on their experiences at Deliveroo, where they encountered challenges in accessing compensation market data. The startup collaborates with big names such as Just Eat, Wise, Zoopla, and Octopus Energy. This investment marks a significant step in evolving traditional compensation review methodologies into data-driven, automated processes that keep pace with market changes.
