Quant Successfully Completes Recapitalisation with White & Case Support

White & Case LLP, a prominent global law firm, has successfully advised Quant AB (publ), a global leader in industrial maintenance, on a consensual recapitalisation process for the Quant group. Headquartered in Sweden, Quant undertook a comprehensive financial restructuring that included the transformation of existing senior secured bonds, initially issued in 2018, into new senior secured bonds due 2029, and the issuance of holdco participating debentures maturing in 2040. Additionally, Quant engaged in a debt-for-equity swap to fortify its financial structure. The strategic transaction also introduced a new guarantee facility and put in place intercreditor arrangements. The complex process was facilitated by White & Case's Stockholm office, with Michael Bark-Jones leading a team comprising partners, associates, and other legal experts.
